Outsourced Backlinking Test- And they are off!

with 4 comments

Edit- I forgot to mention we will be using seoserp.com for results monitoring.

I pushed out all my content this weekend on to the sites. They are all unique articles. Each site has 5 articles and they are all either similar or the same topics.

I installed my giant ping list on the sites and installed SEO Ultimate on each site for some internal linking. I have given each of the three keywords they will be ranking for and also the freedom to build the link profile however the deem best. I also have given them the option to give me some input on on page SEO factors if some changes will help their cause.

Remember, the contest runs for six months and I will be updating weekly. I will be doing no other SEO work on these sites, it is 100% in the hands of the service provider.

So without further ado, here are the competitors and what they are offering:

  • LinkPushing:We will be using the basic package which is 5 pushes each month for $67.00.  Here is a push described by the site “Here’s a breakdown of what you will get for each linkpush:As many as 25 blog posts on Web 2.0 properties, with 6-8 for your tier 1

Narrowing Down My Outsource List

without comments

I am currently narrowing down the list of backlink services to use for this test.  One keeps popping to the top and honestly I am a bit conflicted about it.  The service is linkpushing.net.  It seems like a decent service and has a plan in our price range.

The reason I am conflicted is that I need to log into their service each time I want to push out a new back of links.  All I need to do is put in the URL, the keywords, and hit go, but I still have to do something.

On the other hand, with the other ‘hands off’ seo services, I would still need to email them a different URL and keywords when I want to change it. (most seem to let me change the URL on a monthly basis.)  So email or logging in, I still have involvement.

So at this point, unless I find a better alternative, I think I will allow this one in the test, but if it ends up being tied with another service, I will declare the more hands off one the victor.
