Seo Bloodhound- SEO Testing Done Right

For those of you who may have missed it, the results of the Linkpushing vs. Serpassist test are now in.  You can read them here: Linkpushing vs. Serpassist Results.  I have my next test planned and some of the groundwork laid, but I am pretty busy with some other projects this month, so I do not foresee it getting under way anytime before December.  The basic premise is whether or not have google products on your site will affect your serps.  Particularly, google analytics in this case.

In this particular test, we have pretty much entrenched our services in there places in the contest.  We did have a little movement this week, but not much, and the top 3 are still on top.

Keyword 1: 1,850,000 competing pages in google

1. Taking back first place this week is Senukex climbing to 6th in google.
2. Falling to second is Chris from Warrior Forum dropping in the serps at 9th.
3. Third is still held by Linkpushing.net who slipped to 14th.
4. Fourth is smartersubmit.com now ranking at 17th in google.
5. Finally fifth is SEO Jack from the Warrior falling to 18th in google.

Not many changes in competition rankings yet, but tightening in the serps has taken place.  Not much else to tell, the results speak.  Next week the serpassist vs linkpushing.net test ends and I will have that update for you.

Keyword 1: 1,850,000 competing pages in google

1. Taking first place once again this week is  Chris from Warrior Forum climbing to 3rd in google.
2. Falling to second is Senukex falling in the serps to 8th.
3. Third is now held by Linkpushing.net who climbed to 10th.
4. Fourth is smartersubmit.com now ranking at 16th in google.
5. Finally fifth is SEO Jack from the Warrior climbing to 19th in google.

Ok, week 6 of our Best Backlink Service Test is now in the books.  I honestly thought we would see a little more stability by this point, but things are still moving around a bit as you will see from the results.  With some new number ones, I am working hard to get you some discounts if you should sign up for the services.  These will come in the form of reviews of the services.  I am anticipating having things together to offer you on on the Wednesday, but still finalizing everything.  I will let you know as soon as I can.

As I know some of you are signing up for linkpushing.net and taking advantage of the 15% discount I have on the review page, I wanted to let you know that I will be starting a new test soon pitting linkpushing.net vs Serpassist.  Serpassist seems a little more handson, i.e. I believe you need to feed it content, but it also is unlimited in the number of linkwheels you can build.  Should be interesting.  I am going to get some input from you all at the end of today’s update on how to run it, so be sure to read to the end and comment with your opinion.  The question will be after this weeks serps update.

That being said, lets get to the meat of this update-

Keyword 1: A brand new leader on this one folks.

1. The winner for this word is smartersubmit.com   They have taken this word to the 9th position.
2. Slipping one place into second place is SEO Jack from the Warrior forum.  He still climbed in the serps to be ranked 10th.
3. Climbing to third place is Linkpushing.net  they dropped a bit to 20th. Checkout our full review of linkpushing.net.
4. Fourth place now goes to Chris from Warrior Forum! dropping a bit to 21st place.
5. Fifth place this week goes to Senukex  falling a bit and coming in at 92nd.

Keyword 2:  Some jumping around in the results this week.

1. The winner once again is Chris from Warrior Forum!  Chris dropped one notch to 6th in serps this week.
2. Second place once again goes to Linkpushing.net which dropped a bit in serps to 10th place in the google results.
3. Third place now held by  SEO Jack from the Warrior forum.  They have now increased to being ranked 17th.
4. Fourth is still held by smartersubmit.com  They increased slightly and are now ranked 18th for this keyword.
5. And in fifth place is Senukex.  He is now ranking at 37th in google.

Keyword 3: 2 have once again fallen to the realm of the unranked.

1. The winner this week is Linkpushing.net  coming in at 17th in google.
2. Second  is now held by Chris from Warrior Forum.  Dropping a bit to 21st in google.
3. Third place is now going to SEO Jack from the Warrior forum  bringing the rankings in at 29th
4. Fourth place is held by smartersubmit.com and Senukex  Both are now no longer in the top 1000 in google.

So here is my question regarding the next test which I would love your input on.  Like I indicated, I am going to run this test serpassist vs. linkpushing.net.  I will lay out the details and parameters of the test when I actually launch, but until then, what type of site would you like me to rank-

1. 2 brand new sites, and run it similar to this test. i.e., domains very similar, keywords the same, etc.

2. 2 aged sites, similar ranking and competition for keywords.

3. 2 pages on the same site, each service would try to rank a page on an aged site.  Different keywords, but similar competition.

We are now entering the part of this test that is like everything between the first five and last five laps of a nascar race.  Yes it does matter, yes we care, but now much is changing, so lets see a good wreck or skip to the end.   At least that is how I would watch nascar if I did decide to watch cares drive in ovals.

That being said, not much changed this week.  A little jockeying for position her and there.  Overall positive movement, but no breakout changes and no crashes to report.

Here are week 5 results:

Keyword 1: Things are definitely tightening on this one, should stay interesting.

1. The winner for this word is once again SEO Jack from the Warrior forum.   Jack is now ranked in the 14th position for this word.
2. Surging into second place is Chris from Warrior Forum.  He is now ranking 16nd.
3. Falling to third place is smartersubmit.com bringing this keyword up to 18th.
4. Fourth place now goes to  Linkpushing.net dropping a bit to 19st place.  Checkout our full review of linkpushing.net.
5. Fifth place this week goes to Senukex climbing a bit and coming in at 27th

Keyword 2:  Some jumping around in the results this week.

1. The winner once again is Chris from Warrior Forum!  Chris dropped one notch to 3rd in serps this week.
2. Second place once again goes to Linkpushing.netwhich held this keyword to 7th place in the google results.
3. Third place still held by Senukex.  They have now surged past 2 competitors and are ranking 11th in serps.  Very nice turnaround for them over the last 2 weeks.
4. Fourth is still held by smartersubmit.com  They are still ranked 25th for the second week in a row.
5. Just barely in fifth place is SEO Jack from the Warrior forum.  He is now ranking at 26th in google.

Keyword 3: 2 have come from unranked to being contenders this week.

1. The winner once again is Chris from Warrior Forum!  Chris is ranking 8th in google results.
2. And solidly second one more time is Linkpushing.net.  They pushed this keyword further up to 13th.
3. Third place is now going to Senukex.  They have now surged past 2 competitors on this keyword as well and are now ranking 19th.
4. Fourth place is held by smartersubmit.com  They are now ranked 43rd for this week.
5. Fifth is now held by SEO Jack from the Warrior forum.   Jack is now ranked 55th for this keyword.

Wow, is it just me or did this week go by very fast.  Time to update the results again.  Unfortunately, seoserp.com is completely on the fritz this week. It has been out of commission since Friday, so once again we are going to be using scroogle.org for our results.  Keep that in mind when viewing the results.  I think next week if seoserp.com is working, I will put up both results to give us all an idea as to the variance in the output.

keyword 1: We have another leadership change-

1. The winner for this word is now Linkpushing.net which took this keyword to 9th place.
2. Second place goes to Chris from Warrior Forum.  he slipped a bit 17th place.
3. Third place goes to SEO Jack from the Warrior forum. Jack slipped back to 23rd for this week.
4. Fourth place is now held by  Senukex ranking at 132nd.
5. Fifth place is now held by smartersubmit.com with this keyword now being ranked at 235.

keyword 2:

1. The winner is still Chris from Warrior Forum! Chris is rock solid on this keyword and now is ranked 2nd again.
2. Second place goes to Linkpushing.net which held this keyword to 7th place for the third week in a row.
3. Third place goes to SEO Jack from the Warrior forum he slipped back a bit on this keyword to 274.
4. Fourth is now held by smartersubmit.com they also slipped back a bit this week and are now ranked 429th.
5. Fifth is held by Senukex. In the scroogle results, we cannot find this site in the top 850 results which is as high as scroogle delivers.

keyword 3:

1. The winner is Chris from Warrior Forum! Chris moved this keyword up another spot to claim 6th in google results.
2. And solidly second one more time is Linkpushing.net. They also moved up one spot to 11th.
3. SEO Jack from the Warrior forum remains in third this week and slipped back a bit to 47th.
4. Fourth place is a tie between Senukex and smartersubmit.com they both are not showing in the top 850 this week.

Again, please bear in mind these are the scroogle results.  I know for my other sites, scroogle does tend to trend a little lower.  Also we are entering the 4th week of the competition.  Many of these services did their initial backlinking in weeks one and two, so there will be some slipping in serps and then we should see a buildup again when next months package kicks in.
